Lately I have been paintiing landscapes around the Faro Beach in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The landscape on that area is really interesting, very different from the local geography.

For this series I am painting my friends as modern day saints. What would The Virgin Mary would have looked being born now?

My friend Melissa kindly posed for Mary, her eyes definitely looked magical.

In this series the images were created realistically and then the areas of interest were turned into isolated areas of solor or into different shapes, mostly biomorphic.
